Saguaro Skeleton
Paying my last respects to an ancient Saguaro (Carnegiea gigantea). You may not know, but, the Saguaro has a woody skeleton underneath its green, thorny exterior. This silhouette shows the ribs of the saguaro starting to splay apart.
Location: Shantz Trail, East Section, Saguaro National Park, Tucson, AZ.
